Sync-Rx, Ltd. is aiming to optimize and facilitate trans-catheter cardiovascular interventions using automated on-line image processing.
The Company’s current focus is on coronary catheterizations. Clinical experience accumulated with the Sync-RxTM System (FDA cleared and CE marked) at medical centers worldwide indicates a high level of user satisfaction in both diagnostics and therapeutics. Specific benefits cited in user presentations include improved diagnostic images, simplified device positioning and post-deployment analysis, and facilitated performance of complicated cases. The Sync-Rx System is viewed as benefiting both beginners and highly-skilled operators.
Currently in development, and referred to by some as “the holy grail of cardiologists”, is the automated on-line integration of the images produced by commonly-used X-Ray with the images produced by increasingly-popular imaging catheters (e.g., IVUS, OCT) from within the vessels. Such integration is also known as Co-Registration. Sync-Rx believes its solution will be unparalleled in terms of speed, simplicity and user friendliness.
